Counter against Mileena/Reptile/Kabal 1 Trick ponies

Hey all,
Started playing the game about a week ago and only really been into UMK3 before. Few problems with Mileena / Reptile & Kabal, after knocking them down, I can't really find a way of attacking from the moment they stand up? They'll immediately use some special move which seems to take place before you can get a single hit in. Just wondering if there's any methods of preventing this.

Also, how are you meant to punish on this game? With UMK3 a failed teleport would usually end up with the opposite player being able to pull off their combo, however on here I'm having trouble working out a way of doing more than 3 or 4 hits after blocking a special.

Finally, with very aggressive players who constantly do the same combo 24/7, constant forward dash etc. What are you supposed to do? Can't jump out from it, can't seem to block unless you know the combo and can predict the upper/lower block.

Certain characters can punish Mileena's teleport with a full combo but everyone can punish her other wake up specials, you have to stand block all of her specials because they all hit high.

You cant be in the Middle of a screen while Mileena is on the ground that's begging for a ball roll

Most player never use neckbite on wake up <_<

Characters with fast uppercuts can punish her teleport.

Its best to go into the training room with each character, Learn there strings and find out which hit high,Low, Over head.

You need to anticipate their wake up attacks, which Kabal has some beast wake up attacks. Most of the time people will wake up with just a ground saw, so just jump that. You can block it to be safe, but I'd rather just avoid the chip damage. He can also EX nomad dash for a wakeup which has armor on startup. I usually use that as an anti-air. They can also EX tornado slam on wakeup but honestly it's not that good to do that. The best thing to counter Kabal's wake up attacks are to try to stay at a distance.

Reptile has similar wake up attacks. You still need to look for that low (the slide) or the dash (elbow dash). One thing that usually throws people off is a blocked EX elbow dash. Even if it's blocked, Reptile will still go on the other side of them for a second hit. Reptile pretty much has to spend a bar to be able to have a good wake up so I wouldn't worry about him too much.
