Chameleon In, Khameleon Out.

Midway has already given us plenty of surprises, dude. The fact that Motaro now has only two legs and is no longer a Centaur. That was the biggest shock to me so far. I also follow the same policy when any new MK game is released. I expect nothing and in return get nothing. It's been that way ever since MKDA was released

Oh I know. I have to admit that Motaro as a Centuar had me a bit shocked, yet at the same time, I'm kinda interested to see what he'll play like. :) My "expect nothing and in return get nothing" attitude started after I purchased the Collector's Edition of Halo 2. Yes, to me, Halo 2 was overhype and gaming disappointment at it's height for reasons I won't go into because this isn't the thread for it. :P

I made another read on the Midway boards and someone suggested the possibility of Khameleon being in the game, but under a new name, since there tends to be confusion between Chameleon (PS1 and PC version of MKT) and Khameleon (N64 version of MKT). I hope this is the case because I refuse to buy the Wii or any other next-gen console for one extra console-exclusive player they could have added into the game, even if it meant delaying it more. I don't mind delays. Painkiller: Hell Wars for the Xbox had a ton of them, and I thought the game was great after it's release. :)

I believe that Motaro will be an excellent character to play as. Have you seen him performing his Kata, yet? He moves as smoothly and precisely as any of the other characters that I have seen so far. So, I think it's a safe bet that his playablity level will be high, despite him being a sub boss character. In other words, he won't have that chunky feel.[/quote]

And for the record, I prefer Chameleon to Khameleon. Including both of them in this game would seriously rock! But like I said further back, I'm quite content with Chameleon. He looks and plays awesome!

Ok i got a question.SUpposly Reptile and Khameloen are the last ones from Zattera,so they have to you know.....to start there kind again.Well ah how the hell is chameloen a guy.I was thiking maybe Shao khan made Kha. have a sex change or soemthing so now he is a guy and they cant make there family.Any ideas? Because im still wondering why the hell is happening.

Chameleon is the male ninja from the PS1 version. Khameleon is the female ninja from the N64 version. Nobody had a sex change. They're totally different characters.

I guess I can settle for just Chameleon, even though I would have liked the female counterpart. Maybe we can make her in KAF.

Yep, sure did see his Kata. I agree his movements are smooth. :)

While I've only played with Chameleon on the PC version of MKT, I will admit I'd like the chance to play as Khameleon, since, the big argument is, is that she's got more a story than Chameleon and deserves to be in her. I agree it would kick ass if both of them were in it, but at the same time, it's really no biggie for me if she's not in it. However, I do have a serious issue with console-exclusive features/characters, and not just in MKA. For example, Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the PSP has two new characters that aren't in Tekken 5, and MK: Unchained has characters not in MKD, that and an endurance mode. While this does increase Midway's profits, it also causes a split and dissastisfaction between fans.

Again, it would be great is Khameleon was in ALL versions in MKA, but if not, it's no big deal for me. If she's in the Wii version, it's not gonna just upset me, but all of the others who wanna play as her, and the only way to do that would be to buy the Wii, which, at this moment in time, I have no interest in purchasing any of the next-gen consoles. For now, I'm sticking with current-gen consoles and (when I can get it out of storage) PC games.

Yeah, we can make almost anything on KAF.

I had thought about taking that route before, but, in the long run, Khameleon being made with KAF will just be a KAF creation and not an official character in MKA. To me, at least, it loses something, that and I already have my own plans for characters in KAK.

That does lead me to a somewhat off-topic question, though: if there's two KAF slots per profile, do you think it's possible to make multiple profiles? If so, then I might look into making Khameleon. :)
