Who's flaming here? I don't see anyone doing that; just an exchange of opinions.
Unless it's pushed back to Q2, I don't think there will be any worthy content added to the Wii version (unless it's going to be offline, then you'll probably see a new mode.. or perhaps UMK3 standard with each copy). It's basically the Nintendo version that's not seeing a release on the GC, so I say, why not? The true next gen MK will probably not even be on the Wii (Possible though, if a special version of the game was rebuilt for it).
And given time constraints, the remote won't be significantly utilized, if any. In fact, I find it odd that Boon actually considers that. The remote just isn't for fighting games that require finesse in controls (kind of like going back to those original SF cabinets with the huge buttons that you had to punch). Yes, I'm aware that the next SSB will use that, but that series has never been a true fighter along the lines of VF/Tekken/SC/SF etc. However they use the remote there, Nintendo fans will like it.
I'm getting the console for sure because of RE, but that series can benefit from the remote in a few ways. Likely late next year, since Capcom's FY 2006 forecast doesn't include any games for the consoles (it ends in March 2007). For everything else, it'll be a toss up between the PS3 and 360. I don't really own that many multiplatform games to begin with (or western ones for that matter).
