Blaze

I think he is the sub-boss no doubt.

But then who is the boss? LOL.

Well depending on the storyline he could possibly be the boss, but I doubt it. I think it's more likely he will be the sub-boss (which seems like it would be kool), and Kahn will be the boss; that's just what I think though.

I think it is because of his elemental fire powers which co-exist n his body.

BTW you posted that in this topic before LOL. No offense.

No last time i said that he is being influenced by him, meaning maybe the one being is speeking to him and telling him what to do(similar to how he is speeking to shao kahn and onaga)

This time i said maybe blaze IS the one being

Sorry for my fast reading.

It looks almost the same ZX{P LOL.

Oh well. Hopefully if he is the boss/sub-boss he doesn't kill within about 5 strikes...

I wouldn't like him to be the boss... It would make the game too close to SC's inferno, another firey character.

Not to disregard what you say, but how?

I mean Blaze and Inferno the differences:

-One is a demon the other is an elemental

- Both are from seperate universes

- Both from different series

-One has a fighting style, the other is a random select character

-Blaze has been playable Inferno hasn't.

-One was locked away due to some special high priest, the other was trapped inside Soul Edge.

-One has mastery over fire. The other is Hell-Fire.

-One is dead the other, is still pretty much unknown about.

-they are way different in many other ways.

I mean they don't look alike, sound alike, seem alike, aren't even specie related.

So really there isn't a reason he shouldn't be.

Plus they both play entirely differently.

Unles I missed something.

Plus they really aren't fire people. They are a demon, and an elemental.

Your right about that Phoenix, but I think Angel was just saying they both are firey, and to see some fire engulfing your opponent(Which doesn't hurt them as we know) is not something she wants to see as a boss. If a boss is going to look threatening don't have to make him firey, unless the storyline is Blaze is being used by the one being or whatever, but I want to see a scary looking boss that if we saw in real life we be pissing in our pants(Well not me anyway lol, but you know what I mean), something unique and MK looking though. I for one don't want to fight Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Shinnok, the Deadly Alliance or Onaga as a boss again.

LOL. Actually if you look at Blaze, for MK:A he looks like Astraoth *SP* from SC in some areas.

But if I saw someone like Blaze in real life... I wouldn't try and take his lunch money LOL.

Anyway I noticed that Cervantes Soul Edge *first game in the series* looks a little in a way like a younger Shang Tsung from MK1. Although I wouldn't mind a choose your destiny with all the past bosses with ??? and sub-boss Blaze. He looks like a pain in the ass to beat...

Thank you for understanding.

Yeah... I want a MK unique butt kicker boss. After completed SC2 countless times I couldn't stand seeing yet another firey character in another game (Inferno got really boring after the first 34 times).

I read somewhere that Onaga (or Shao Kahn, I forget) somehow made him overcharge and become more powerful, thus, his gigantic size.

I dunno, I might've read it in someone's post, or maybe the post was for creating storylines for characters (like pheonix's, you should check them out). If it was, then forget what I said. It wouldn't be true.

I get the feeling Blaze will be important in the storyline and how MK will end

CRACK INDUCED THEORY #1:

After MK:DA, the newly awakened Blaze understands his purpose once more. After his apparent death at the hands of Goro, the energy of his soul was dispelled and he was reborn in fire. For centuries he was cursed to guard the egg of the Dragon King, unaware of who he was or where he came from. But now he is free and he must finish what he started. He is Kung Lao the Great once again.

Hm? Hows that for trippy?
