i really need help beating scorpion i cant do it ...............................any advice?

Stick and move, stick and move...

Really, he's just like any other character. All you have to do is wait for an attack, dodge it, then counter with a short combo. Rinse and repeat.

Also try searching the forums before posting a question so the boards aren't flooded with rehashed topics.

In my opinion, go relentless on him without getting caught by his spear slice. My strategy is to mix long range and close range attacks. Best way to avoid damage is to not get caught in it or it's trouble.

I forgot to put down for Inferno Scorpion. The best way to put him in bay is mix up long range attacks, with launch ups and air kombat moves and plus, avoid the flames and stay away when he does something crazy with his spear such as the Inferno Spin and the Spear Katas. If you're using Liu Kang, make use with the Fireburst Fireball and the Bicycle Kick, while with Kung Lao, make very use with the hat and the Dive Kicks.

Don't mention it! For the test of might segment, breathe, keeping mashing the A button until the bar is green, then press the Left Trigger.

A hint for the Test Your Might areas: all the face buttons increase tha bar, not just the A button. Alternating between at least two of the buttons makes things about a thousand times easier.

Wow! Must've been the hitting combo and run tactic because he would've stop the ground combos with his Spear Slice or the aerial one by teleporting away.
