are you going for next gen because MKX ?

I got a PS4 just because I wanted to experience this game with the next gen consoles... That, and my 360 is beginning to show its age. I gotta pimp slap it to open the tray, and I have to restart it just to get the game to play. :laugh:
 
I'm keeping my PS3 for sure, I don't wanna buy a PS4 just for MKX. And I would do a PC version, but the computer is broken, unfortunately. So I'll probably watch gameplay videos on youtube for now. If my computer does get fixed, then I might thinking about buying it one day.
 
well its sure that u cant have full real experience with old consoles.
For me other games are also as bonus.But im sure that when game is released im going to play most my free time only MK.
Same thing was with MK9 also.
But its different for many people im sure.Not all are addicted so mutch to one game.
If there was no MK then im sure i didnt had any console or interest to games at this moment.
Or not user in any game forum.
 
I think it's time to move on to next gen. I think this year will be our final year for the PS3 and 360. Look at back on the original consoles before it, their life span pretty much ends after the next year or two after the next gen consoles. 2006 was the last major year for original Xbox games to have games come out for it until MS discontinued the original Xbox in 2007. 2008 was the last real year for PS2 games since everything else after that was sports games and cheap movie license games. PS3 will likely last a bit longer since they will still release sports games for it like they did with the PS1 and PS2. I got my PS3 in 2008 and I will likely keep it until Japan decides to start focus on PS4 games for their exclusives anime and tokusatsu titles.
 
PC all the way for me. You can get more "next-gen" than that. Ive been pimping out my gaming setup ever since i heard about MKX :)

I have both and X1 and PS4 but I will be getting the PS4 version. Netherealm seems to focus more on Sony consoles than Microsoft
 
I gotten the X-Box One last year (which included the Kinect for it), not only cuz of this, but also for Killer Instinct, the new gen Halo games, and also Arkham Knight. And also I enjoy the features of commanding my console for changing channels on the cable tv, the volume, and whenever watching blu-ray or videos, I can pause, rewind, etc., via voice command.
