Anyone have a "Go To" character yet?

I have been drawn back to Raiden.....I like the sound of the electricity moving around during the fight and I really like his transplant fatality.

hes far from useless; he has a reflex attack that can aid in spam fights . if someone blocks way to much he has a thunder bolt . you can throw a pop up in pretty much all of his combos because of his hacket uppercut . and he has a great dash if they dont duck =P.
 
I can't break away from Johnny easily but I find myself using Sonya more and more. I'm shocked at how well she suits my playstyle. Sindel is another I like to use as a go-to. For now I just rotate between those three online.
 
i will always use raiden no matter what. i just got the game about two hours ago and have been doing practice and arcade with raiden and i'm finding it really hard to get used to him and string up some good combos and juggles. it's gonna be hard trying to master him and he's a very difficult character to use well but practice makes perfect as they say^_^
 
Smoke is my #1 so far.
I decided to start fresh in this game when going for a main. Sub-zero is too cliche for me these days:roll:
Smoke seems to have a good amount of depth in his playstyle and mixups with his teleport are priceless.

I'm surprised at all the Kitana love! Nice to see we have a pretty even spread though. Lots of people using lots of different fighters.
 
Ermac & Mileena. I'm trying to settle on my main six like I usually do with every fighting game and get good at all of them but it's tough. Too many interesting characters
 
yeah i'm thinking kitana right now. she is awesome.

after her i found myself liking sub-zero's style and nightwolf is pretty good.

i really want to like noob but he is gonna take hella practice to master.

smoke is a beast to and cyber sub is pretty awesome too.
 
Kitana, followed by Kung Lao but I haven't even cracked the surface of playable characters yet so that may very well change in time. I was never a Stryker or Johnny Cage guy but both of those characters have really surprised me in story mode, I'll definitely put more time in with them for ladder and online matches.
 
I thought that Noob Saibot would be my DAY 1 "go-to" guy.

Not surprisingly though, it's been Sub-Zero, due to the demo.
Perfecting Noob Saibot is a work in progress. ;-)
