Anyone disappointed by the lack of color in the game?

The only reason MK9 had color was cause it had all the stages from MK1-MK3 it wouldn't be that fun if Shang Tsungs's garden was all dark and gray would it? No because it's a classic stage, this game is going for a more dark look/story so it wouldn't look very dark if all the stages were colorful.

Agreed here's a correction................"Everyone who wants this game to look dark, gloomy and gritty the way MK was always intended to be feels that it's fine"
This is Owtorld it isn't all rainbows and beautiful vibrant scenery.... Edenia is dead.

but don't worry the jungle stage won't be the only stage that has daylight lol

Then explain the sky in the Wasteland stage. That looks colorful to me...

Indeed it is colourful... with the use of darker colours it still looks gloomy...
what he was implying was the usage of lighter colours/brighter colours this would make the atmosphere of the stage less gritty imo.
(e.g. the streets stage in MK9 was too bright for my liking i preferred the original.)

I think I should clarify. Im just disappointed that the stages we have shows so far only use blacks, greys, gold, browns.

If you look at the stages from MK9, the stages used those dark colors but had some bright ones as well. In my opinion, Outworld Marketplace is one of the most boring stages I have ever seen in a Mortal Kombat game.

In my opinion the Outworld Marketplace is one of the most interesting stages, looks very medieval and different in a good way. They never really showed a functioning civilization and society in places like Outworld, so it makes a good change.

Jungle and Marketplace both looks very bright, i hoped for all stages to be much darker and lifeless, after all it must be about Netherealm invasion, and Netherealm = death & demons, so it will make perfect sence to have this death or demonic feel on all of the arenas.
