On February 25, 2012, we as a Mortal Kombat Kommunity changed the face of MK forever.
In a single 24 hour period, we showed that the power of caring, the power of support, and yes, the power of love could unite this entire Kommunity. In a single night, we raised almost $1,700 to help in the fights against Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes, and Cancer.

It's time to do it again!


On October 27, 2012 I will be doing a 24 hour stream to benefit Autism Speaks, Livestrong, and The Lupus Foundation of America. There will be links to donate to all organizations put on here as soon as I have them set up.

I will be playing games, talking, taking questions, and other things. I am going to be inviting special guests to come and play on stream, talk with the stream etc.

We will be running "donation matches" again.
Check may be on hand to play some MKDC and Metroid Other M!
Special Guests to be announced!

A special "KombatNetwork Kares" T-shirt is being created for this event. This shirt will be raffled off live on the stream!

Ugh... Ok everyone... I TOTALLY goofed here... I mean.. screwed the pooch... crapped the bed... etc.

In my excitement and haste to do the charity stream, I didn't do the ONE THING I needed to do before officially scheduling and announcing it... I didn't check the dates to make sure that I wouldn't be scheduling it at the same time as another event.

As it turns out, T13 is the exact same weekend. REO, Maxter, Insuperable and others will all be there... and unfortunately, the three players I just mentioned were all going to be guests on the charity stream.

So, in the interest of having the best possible guests available, to have the best stream possible and to raise the most amount of money with them... The Charity Stream has been moved to October 27th!!!

Short and quick thank you. I'm EXTREMELY tired right now as I only got the chance to sleep for about 3 hours before I was awakened and informed that the animal shelter my wife and I volunteer at was evacuating due to the impending hurricane. We just got back now after spending a few hours helping them move animals, cages, crates, etc.

Shoutouts to all who donated, all who watched and supported and my fellow co-hosts and guests.

I'll have a more in depth write up tomorrow. For now, thank you all...
