MK: Deception Goes Gold, In Stores October 4th

<a href="http://www.gamespot.com">GameSpot</a> has gotten <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/09/20/news_6107944.html">word</a> that development on <strong>Mortal Kombat: Deception</strong> has finished and the finalized copies of the <b>PlayStation 2</b> and <b>Xbox</b> versions have been sent to manufacturing.

Both versions will be available in stores on <b>October 4th</b>, with the <b>GameCube</b> version scheduled for a <b>January 2005</b> release. Congrats to the <b>MK Development Team</b>!
 
The only thing unfortunate is that i can not afford to dish out $50 for this game, it is a great game, but i just dont have the money. I'll just have to rent it...BTW pat, howcome theres a delay for the gamecube version? differnt format?

It's not going to be online, so they're adding different features to make up for that. Also, the gamecube version was pushed off because it wasn't even suppost to be made, so it's taking them a bit to add everything they want. I guess in other words.... What the gamecube version lacks in online playabilty, they'll make up for with better, exclusive, features. :)
 
ooooooooooooohhhh...goodies! now i can buy both of them...when i get some money, and the prce is knocked down to $19.99

It will be hitting some stores on the 4th... GameStop does have it listed as the 5th... as do a couple others.
 
Well, I'm going to be driving like an hour and a half to the mall today (the 4th), so I hope to hell that EB has it available. If one of you guys gets it from EB today, like early on, that'd be cool if you could drop the information here when you get it, just so I don't have to drive over an hour only to have them not selling it yet. I would be incredibly appreciative.
 
Gamestop where I live isn't selling it until tomorrow, the 5th, because they said that it ships on the 4th and won't be available to buy yet.
