I suppose if you really wanted a joystick you could buy 2nd hand arcade parts on ebay and put it in an MDF or even lexan box... you have to hack up an Xbox controller though (only good use for some of that 3rd party crap IMO)
or if you have deep enough pockets you could spring for the king daddy: the X-Arcade

which is also universal and built from all real arcade parts. At close to $200 for a 2 player joystick plus another $40 for the adapter for your particular console it's really only worth it if you REALLY want a joystick and REALLY need it to work with every console under the sun. :roll:
I suppose a 3rd option would be to pickup a PS2 controler adapter. I mean there's litterally hundreds of joysticks available for playstation.
