I think this was pretty spot-on analysis. I remember people used to make detailed analysis of MK9's "rebooted canon" as well. Tvtropes website used to have a list of these inconsistencies too, if I'm not wrong.

It would be good to move from three variations to only two, rather than going Injustice 2 route with gear-based extra specials (since all of those extras got banned in competitive play and that was the end of it).

I think since MKDA characters only ended up with 1 fatality each, the team has tried to bring more visual shock to each (MK4 had twice as much fatalities, so MKDA would deliver double the shock). Too bad these were mostly gone in MKD, some of them were pretty good.

This is funny, so it means both of Hsu Hao's MKDA specials were copied, and one of them from The Grid.

One of not that well-developed characters, but with more unique design than Kobra. Since NRS are known to recycle special moves from previous (even non-MK games), what about adding some Harley Quinn stuff to Kira? At least visually and thematically she is a good fit.
