Whos in the background of Liu Kangs ending? I cant make them out, I think it's Raiden but not 100% sure.

Did anyone find the ending a bit predictable? I think it was hinted at all the way through, but only got obvious when Damashi hired that guy to kill the orderrealm guys and break you out of prison.
