    Tim Burton's 'Corpse Bride'

I can't believe no one has responded yet! I am extremely excited about this movie! I am such a huge admirer of both Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, and I am in love with The Nightmare Before Christmas!

    Post-Oscar Thoughts

All right! So the Academy Awards just ended this past Sunday! Million Dollar Baby got Best Picture, Best Director (way to go, Clint), Best Actress (Hilary Swank), and a Best Supporting Actor to Morgan Freeman. And Jamie Foxx took best Actor (as if anyone thought otherwise). So, lemme ask...

For you Ed Wood fans out there

Although I don't believe Mr. Wood is a talented director (after seeing Glen or Glenda, Bride of the Monster, AND Plan 9 From Outer Space), I do admire him more than most other filmmakers for the sheer passion he has for his work. He never became wealthy, but he sure did live his dream: he...

    Best of 2004

Since all the award shows are comin' our way, I'd like to know what everyone's personal "Best Picture" is. It doesn't have to be one of the official nominees of whatever award shows in mind, just whatever you liked the most.

    Best Horrorr Flick!

The Exorcist and the original Night of the Living Dead.

    007

Casino Royale, though named after the first Bond novel, is not a Bond movie at all. It's a satire on the spy-movie genre. But, see if you can find the ACTUAL Casino Royale CBS TV movie from 1954 based on the book. It's actually the FIRST Bond movie ever made, but not a part of the official...

    007

Cheers to that! Goldfinger is the best. Archetypical villain and the perfect balance between Bond wit and gadgetry. RIPLIUKANG, you rock!

The Unofficial Mortal Kombat 3 Movie Page Update

Okay, so here's the main thing the next MK movie needs: it needs to completely disassociate itself from Mortal Kombat 4 and before!!! Those games are now becoming 8 to 13 years old. Most of the mainstream audience has forgotten about them. It needs to focus on the Deadly Alliance. It's...

    Favorite Movie

From my name, everyone should guess that my favorite movie of all time is The Rocky Horror Picture Show! I've seen the movie 106 times, and the stage show 7 times. My next favorites are: 2) The Exorcist 3) King Kong (1933) and 4) Night of the Living Dead (1968). If anyone hasn't seen Shaun...

Who's the better comic book hero turned into a movie?

I give my vote to Spider-Man. And you left off Blade, Punisher, and the Hulk. Let's not forget that the Fantastic Four was also turned into a movie (dir. by Roger Corman) in 1994. But it was the crappiest superhero movie ever made.

    Who Is The Best Ninja?

Take it old school! Sub-Zero and Scorpion! Followed closely by Reptile.

    Censored Fatalities

I'd like to add an extension to this debacle. What does everyone think about the series' latter "censored fatalities?" I'm talking about the ones like Sub-Zero's spine rip in UMK3 when the screen goes black, or Reptile's MK2 where he's invisible. Even in MK:Deception when smoke goes invisible...

    Most Hated Character!

    3) Kai ... generic 2) Mokap ... Just plain stupid 1) William Stryker!!! ... The most useless character in the whole MK universe! How the heck was his soul not taken in the Outworld Invasion!? HE was chosen to help defend Earthrealm!?! I don't think so. NEXT!!!

Who are your top 3 fav characters?????

    1) Sub-Zero 2) Scorpion 3) Prince Goro

Favourite Boss in any MK Game

Goro's the freakin' man! The Shokan Man! Although, I have to admit that I've never had a fight that was more frantic and exciting as when I would fight Motaro.

    Best Fatality Ever

JC's torso rip Kung Lao's vertical slice Shang Tsung's MK 2 soul steal Sub-Zero's spine rip And Kobra's where he rips out the heart and shoves it in their mouth!!!

    What's Your Favorite Classic?

MK 2. It still retained that epic tournament feel of the first one, but it had better control, better graphics, and the best fatalities of any of the games (Kung Lao's vertical slice, anyone?). They were over-the-top, but not as much as in MK 3; most of them still had an air of realism to them.
