I completely agree with this post in fact it's my only real problem with the game right now. We need some variety. I was a little shocked at the lack of backgrounds in this game.
I hope that the next MK is not on both generations. I hope that it's focused on PS4 and XBox One. If they put it on both gens, they will have to dumb it down enough to run on all platforms, which will ultimately hold it back. The last MK is still a great game and so is Injustice, but there are...
While we don't have access the the source files (at least I don't), we can only make assumptions on how the code work in this game. However, I will keep in mind that some people may have looked into this much further.
Although there may be a lot of calculations going on that dictate how much...
Nice to see that you agree about the artwork. That is one thing that really throws me off about this game. Even on the stage select screen. I can't imagine why it wouldn't show you the costume you are choosing before you commit to it. I understand that it's more work to be done, but feels a...
Yes, the arcade was always hard, but the question is, what is the point of changing the difficulty level if it doesn't do anything? I can't seem to find a difference.
Stuff I'd like to see in UMK9 -
-1 Player VS CPU
-Additional Arenas
-More (or different) Fatalities
-VS Screen Artwork For Alt Costumes
-Friendships
-Brutalities
-Motaro (yes, they can do it)
-Better Krypt Unlockables
-Additional Story Chapters
Yeah, pretty much all the stuff everyone else...
I'd pay 10 dollars easily. Can't even begin to tell you how let down I was that there were Babalities and no Friendships. The choice seemed obvious... to me at least.
Yeah, if I recall this was in MK Armageddon. I was almost positive it would be in MK9. I have no idea why it wasn't. Sometimes I want to set up the matches exactly the way I want. Pick opponent and stage. It would have added a lot more replay to it.
Re: MKAK review and rather opinionated disgust from a hardkore MK fan....
Well, I played MKT on N64 a couple weeks back and had more fun with that than this.
I'm not even thinking about a patch for online play. I'm thinking about single player mode alone. It's going to take A LOT more than 1 patch to fix this. I'm thinking it will be several, before this is even close to arcade perfect. The problem is though, that I can't imagine TOO much support for...
Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the lag after coming back from the pause menu. You better know those Fatalities by heart, because it lags up when you come back from reading them.
My point in bringing up the console versions was that they not only play better, but look and sound better too. It's sad to see that a SNES port > than a supposedly direct port of the arcade on PS3.
MK3's music is WAAAY too low. I mean, that game has sick music and when you turn it up all the way it's still low you got to be kidding me. As someone else said, the difficulty does nothing at all. It doesn't matter what setting you put it on, it's all the same. All three games feel broken game...
