I wondered about the same thing. Maybe he is still young at the start of the game,
and old at the end? The variations could reflect that. I just hope it has nothing
to do with time traverling or something like that.

That was my idea for MKX from before. That would be a great idea. But for balance's sake.. Probably not possible between releases.
 
With all of these people complaining about dead characters they should make a fake Sindel reveal trailer..trolllolol

I lmao when I read sh!t like this. knowing you will be the first in line trying to buy this game. are you really going to miss out on what its looking to be the best fighting game of the decade just because of some returning dead kharacters? and nrs its definitely taking a huge risk putting in interactables, only because it worked for injustice doesnt mean it would be well received in mk, but so far it looks great.

That's the problem here, it's not like everyone wanted that, you and the ones who think like you assume that, and when someone defends a resurrected character you explode and say you don't have liberty of opinion and so on...
However i could care less, there are resurrected characters and this is by far the best mk game, if you don't like it, i can't understand why you keep following it so passionately! Just go away and create a forum called: i hate mkx for bringing dead chars, there, like [MENTION=5028]Commander[/MENTION] says, you can masturbate talking bs about this game
 
I'm seeing there's a lot of disappointment/disgust/anger at the lack of reveals for new characters, but doesn't it make sense to reveal the old characters first? I mean the majority of MK fans are looking forward to the characters that they know. They're probably gonna reveal the newer characters last or maybe not at all, leaving it up as a "surprise" kinda thing.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Boon said early that the story would take place in multiple time periods involving different timelines.

I was also hoping dead characters stayed dead but it doesn't ruin the game for me. They both look awesome and who knows what the story holds for us.

Ed Boon never said anything about MKX taking place across multiple timelines, just that MKX would take place within a 25-year span, and jump back and forth in time throughout different points in the 25 years.
He said that MK9 & MKX were a different timeline from the old timeline, meaning that MK1 thru MKA has nothing to do with this new timeline.
From the part where Raiden's amulet first cracked in MK9, we now have this new timeline.

Again. Another member who doesn't feel like reading. Let me try to make this clear to you :

I am not speaking against the revived characters. I quite like their designs and am happy to see them return. However I can completely understand why one would be upset that the only character released in 3 months is a dead and returning character.

Was that quite clear enough for you? You and the other one are the most daft, brainless people on this forum so far.

Funny how dude talks about how people can't read but he failed to comprehend what I said about in my post earlier .I obviously was saying that people who weren't big fans of certain characters and just mained whoever felt nice didn't care for mk9 guys returning ...

But dude twisted what I said into some crazy crap in his own head and got his feelings hurt.

if the game starts looking less like MK9 (roster), ill look into it. But right now, I don't have 100's of dollars to spend on something I play mainly for the story.

Take a second to read how just about everyone at the time reacted to what you said. You'll find that a lot of people felt the way that I did. It's funny how you're saying anyone else got their feelings hurt when you went out of your way to send Taj a PM saying that he should kill himself. If anyone here is hurt, it's you and your ridiculous ego.
