He made it by drawing white lines for the cord and made a small rectangle as the ipod.

Yeah, the ipod is all custom. To do it in Photoshop is real easy.. even in paint, just takes time in paint. For photoshop all you need is a simple application of color overlay with black, then the background too a bright color
