the only thing i have to say it's about the freezing move
only change the color of character, if u gis put some textures like ice
and then when hit the ice broke, like in the MK9
but it's a great experience to see a fight like a final version

Bleed AMAZING WORK!!! Once you get the timer in there it'll be awesome. Can you adjust the claping to be minimum of 3 max of 5?
 
Yeah that's some nice progress getting in part of the health bars. Just need to change the font of the names and the timer, put the names in the bar and reduce translucency of the empty bar. The empty bar still needs a dithered\stony\grain to it but otherwise great.

Shang Tsung looks great on the throne.. the only thing missing there is of course him continuing to clap during the fatality. Actually I think Shang Tsung would do a standing ovation & laugh for a fatality but that's probably beyond the scope of this project. :P

I gotta say.. I like how the ninja heads in Sub-Zero's fatality aren't glitched like in the original. That's one thing I'm glad to leave in the past. :D

Bleed, I love how you fixed the lenght of Sub-Zero's arm during the fatality with programming, it looks way better now. Once you have the life bars that stuff will look like heaven+hell...!!! :D

Edit: I don't know about you guys, but I really enjoy this feature of MK in which beheaded/dead characters continue to scream. I wish this wont be changed in MK1HD.

damn, he does his fatal so quick you can't even tell what hes done lol... i don't care what anyone says, i know the arcade version was not like that speed wise.. nope and no one is gonna convince me other wise..

i loved the shang clapping, and blood drip, well done. still like to see the pool of blood comming from the body though, but hey, maybe not, no biggie, just a dream senario.

but the speed thingm gonna have to work on it.
 
Maybe you remember it slower because of the limited ammount of sprites... that gave you more time to see each sprite, now you see a lot more sprites in about the same time. You know, a visual trick.
 
I'm not sure how I can do that with 2D sprites. There is no masking option, so there would need to be a frozen sprite for every normal sprite. I can't use animated shaders like in MK9.

It can be done more easily on the ground, because I can make a special freezing animation no matter what, like in MK9.

it will be cool, but the work will be hard too, a mask will be more easy to do
 

Hmm.. background is just picture, is missing that " 3D" effects deepness of elements , background is just static picture here, is that will be in final version ?
And needs more blood .
Must have pause of 1, or 2 seconds after stage become dark for fatality . Actually this is one of my first and strong memories with MK. That's what stopping time for a second after the screen goes black ... I shudder just at that moment and.. BAM .. Fatality . Now they do fatality every before stage become black, is to fast :) . That magic missing ... again we need more blood .
Is the game will be 60 fps ?

Hey Bleed, would you like me to give you the music cut into different loops, like Throne Room Main, Throne Room Round End, and Throne Room Fatality? I can do the same for the Fatality music also. From what I can tell, the Fatality chime is cut into two pieces so that the first "DUUUUUN" player at the beginning of the fatality, and the second, "DUUUUUN" players when the FATALITY text appears.

Anyway yeah, let me know if you'd like me to send you those cut up versions.

Hey Bleed, I think I understand what he means. It looks like the way back mountains layer should have it's own z-Depth and move independently of the windows. That's how it is cut up in the arcade. Not sure how difficult that would be to do here. I noticed the same thing in Interloko's version of the game as well, it was missing that extra layer of depth. Is that a MUGEN limitation?

Obviously you can not make the floor move like it's 3D or you can ? :) , but other things might be possible .. I do not know
 
You have to increase the speed of your eyes.

Instructions for this:

1.) Step into heavy fast moving traffic.

2.) Be sure to keep your eyes on colorful fast moving cars as they move toward and away from you.

3.) Now this is where it gets technical so stay with me, as the car smashes into you and you roll up the hood, over the windshield, and into the air, be super careful to focus on the driver's eyes. After a few months in the hospital, go view this video again. I'm sure everything will look correct to you then.

fatality is WAY to fast....slow it down bleed, who gives a if its not arcade perfect lol

add the ice shatter when he pulls the head off too, like you were saying you would ages ago hahah
 
I don't think the fatality is fast at all, maybe someone can make a comparison vid with the original arcade MK1 to settle this debate? Also I love how the stage is right now with the some exception of the mountains in the windows.
