It's not about not getting the character you wanted.

The problem is, Freddy doesn't have shit to do with Mortal Kombat. (IMO)

which would mean when playing online, more rage quits before the match even starts and they see the opponent picked Freddy

I'm not certain, I voted no (boycott), but I may download the compatibility pack.

I have no interest in playing as him, so he will be the first dlc I definitely won't buy, but I sort of think the dlc's should be a mandatory compatibility update, as I don't like the idea of people paying for a character and then not being able to play as them online.

However, I would have preferred and bought any actual MK character and can't help feel a bit cheated by Mr Krueger being the one they chose. By not downloading the compatibility pack I can pretend he's not in it at all. Head in the sand ftw...

**** this shit. I got a pass and I'm not downloading him either. Would have taken Mokap or Meat over this shit. Warner Bros trying to push a movie franchise that hasn't been shit since the 80's. Are you kidding me.. THAT BASICALLY PUTS JASON ON LOCK TOO. ANOTHER WASTED DLC SPOT ON THE ROSTER.

You know who would fit inside the MK universe? Nobody.. not DC characters, not Kraytoes, Nothing as far as I am concerned.

One is Cyber Smoke, the other is MK2 Mileena. Can you live without free Cyber Smoke? ;-)
