Freddy could be awesome in this game. Hell, with enough work, Barney could kick some ass. With that being said, I dont want to see either of them. The appeal of playing them would be short. Its the same thing with Kratos. I really looked forward to playing him more than any other character. After a few hours, I set him aside and havent really went back since.

Yeah, somehow people overlook that he is a child murderer/pedophile. Real nice DLC guys. That's the single worst suggestion I've ever heard.

i think horror icons would fit in mk like pin head. mike, Jason and Freddy. maybe we'll get them in october =D

Oh please. Freddy was not originally a "pedophile." The way they would incorporate him into the game would NOT be a pedophile. Give me a break. You people are thinking too much into it.

I guess it wasn't an issue to make a Michael Jackson video game, huh?

The past characters were just pallet swaps with different moves..There's more to Freddy than his skin. It's his sweater and hat that makes him Freddy, and his fingers..

Apples to Oranges comparison.
Not wanting Freddy Krueger in MK has NOTHING in common with not liking Klassic MK ninjas.

That's like saying "If you don't like Deloreans, you don't like root beer."

WTF does one thing have to do with the other???

Well I'm not a Michael Jackson fan, but I still don't think there's any reason to go trolling here. So please don't and we'll all try to get along.

So anyway I don't know why people are assuming it must be a guest character. I could see it being a guest character, seeing as it is an announcement so great they make it at Comic Con. But hey that may just be an attempt to hype an entirely new character, or the return of an old one. We'll see in time, but right now my money (and hope) is on Fujin.

That's because half the world were still his fans, 'Overlooking' what he did. Freddy is just dumb to me. No offence.

Uh, what?

You obviously don't get my point. He's naming the similarities of characters in MK to Freddy Krueger. Freddy is an entirely different character than Kabal and Baraka. They have absolutely nothing in common except the skin. All of the MK ninjas in previous games were pallet swaps..They looked identical.

At least Jason is just a mindless idiot on a killing spree, but him being in MK makes about as much sense as an MK character in an F13 movie. If you want a horror icon fighter go play Terrordrome.

It was never stated in the originals but still hinted at. Besides, like killing kids isn't enough to cross the line? No matter how NR would "incorporate him", he is what he is, no one's going to suddenly forget Freddy's origins. Enough of this already.

WTF is with you people and trolling? How the hell am I trolling? HOW is that trolling? It's a simple statement. People are complaining about Freddy Krueger in a MATURE fighting game, yet no one is complaining that there is a Michael Jackson dance game? How in the world is that trolling?

Rigo Cortes just tweeted "I see a lot of peeople firing up MKA tonight and getting busy with Kreate-A-Fighter".
This means it isn't a character in MKA. Why else would we need to make them?

That's not the same thing - the ninja are a testament to what Midway could accomplish with limited memory.
