He learned how to use his telekinesis better in Deadly Alliance, not Deception. In Deception, he was almost killed by Mavado when Sub-Zero found him and nursed him back to health, while Ermac teamed up with Liu Kang's soul in order to save Kitana, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Jax and Sonya from Onaga's spell.

I'm assuming that Kenshi beats them into a pulp so hard their body explodes slowly oozing gore down the screen.

If so, then that is going to be one of the greatest fatalities ever seen in a mortal kombat game

Really??? but didnt kenshi free ermac from Shao kahns spell and then taught him (kenshi) then ermac later on helped liu kang near the end of deception?

Kenshi freed Ermac from his spell and was taught how to better use his telekinesis by Ermac during Deadly Alliance, but Ermac didn't meet up with Liu Kang until the beginning of Deception.

but I'm not gonna lie, I will probably be guilty of keeping the number of Kenshi's so high. Sorry but he's just too much of a badass lol

did u guys notice when he's fighting sonya, ermac and everybody else is in trouble if he has longer range than ermac, i think his telekenisis goes full-screen. i hope the mk dojo stage level is selectable now online. by the way that fatality is shaping up to be one of the sickest, cant wait to see the second part of his x-ray also. if kenshi looks this awesome i can only imagine what RAIN is gonna be like. save the best for last? time will tell.

You play SSBB online? I could try to play right now if I wanted to, but that game is probably the laggiest game I have ever played by far.

But, yeah, can't wait to see what that 2nd fatality will be.

I played online in 2008 back when it was new, but yeah, the lag was horrible. even worse than mk9's

anyway, some of you seem to be complaining about kenshi's hair. I dont see why, its not that emo crap the concept art showed. His hair looks normal here. Like a blind dude really gives 2 shits about his hair anyway.

now that you say that it'd be cool if in his alternate (if he has one) would have him with a mullet and like a full beard

haha, that would be cool if they snuck in Solid Snake like that. or they could give him a trenchcoat and he could be Neo.

Kenshi is pretty much a samurai fusion of Solid snake and Keanu Reeves. That's an automatic badass character if you ask me

Kenshi is one of my TOP 5 ever and his gameplay is sick! His design is quite poor but he had tele-furry! He seems to play NOTHING like Ermac hehehe

There's something off with his face. His outfit is too much, still too futuristic looking for what you'd expect from a samurai or from a Japanese. 3D Mortal Kombats had arguably some of the worst character design in the franchise and Kenshi looks exactly like those. Sometimes less is more, too assymetrical, some details in his outfit are pointless and pretty damn ugly aesthetically speaking. But this is only my opinion of course. Waiting for his alternate.

I'm pretty surprised that he doesn't seem to have any "projectile" although he's got long-range telekinetic powers.

I think his range does take place of the lack of projectile. I'm sure that he's gonna have some build up time for alot of his attacks though, to balance out his long range.
