Official Mortal Kombat (2011) Video Thread

Heres some of my Smoke BnB combos:


Combo 1: 10 Hits-36% Damage, 1 bars used.
Combo 2: 11 Hits-36% Damage, 0 bars used. (should have been 12 hits but I missed the first hit on start up)
Combo 3: 7 Hits-29% Damage, 0 bars used. ( Utilizes his overhead to start the combo. Timing is very easy)
Combo 4: 9 Hits-34% Damage, 0 bars used.


Combo 1: 34% Damage
Combo 2: 41% Damage
Combo 3: 34% Damage
 
Damn, nearly everyone from the demo was barely touched, so my demo experience helped when playing against friends. Only problem is that they took out Mileena's dashing uppercuts within combos, so my safe 37% combo is gone. :(

I'm working to find some replacements on my own for a bit. Here's the old combos from the demo:

And here's what I've come up with so far in the full game.

WNF is always on weds dont forget! Its usually MvC3 stream, im not sure what their plans are or if theyre doing a different day for specifically MK

Keep posted on high level streams on shoryuken.com by looking at the daily streams on the right side of the front page.

Gonna be honest. I just started watching these. Halfway through the first video.

These guys suck. This just looks like a match between me and my friend.
MAYBE I'm just not grasping these matches and stuff yet.

Buuuut this does NOT look at all high tier play.

I agree, I'm sure these guys are great MvC players but I'm not impressed with their MK skills. Still a good post, though.

I thought Combofiend did pretty well with his Kitana, she seems to have some nice options for tournament level play. Be interesting to see how things progress with her.

so what this is kool seeing players from mvc and sf4 wanting to playing this game too, the more the better for MK being a serious tournament game.

These are very well known MvC3 and SSF4 player's, and more than likely their first go at trying to play MK seriously. Give them a week or two and they'll be sure to impress. You also gotta take into account that this was a day after launch.

Stop using logic!

We all know pro players from other games, should be masters at a brand new game with vastly different mechanics and style compared to what their used to with very little practice time.
