Liu Kang is an awesome character and the champion of Mortal Kombat so don't you think he could've got a better fatality? It's a cool idea and all but it seems so simple. I do love the music to it though. There are other simple ones like Kano's heart rip but thats awesome cause that's Kano. This fatality is new to Liu Kang I believe.

 
Meh, the execution may be simple but the reference isn't so simple.

Reminds me of the old ancient Chinese flicks, and Kung Pow. [The Chosen one always kills someone like that] considering Liu Kang is a reference to said "Chosen one" (s) it makes sense to me. Better than his MK1 fatality by far.

lol cartwheel kick anjd uppercut, No blood or explosion or any gore.
 
I kinda like it. It's a lot "cleaner" (totally inappropriate as a word when discussing fatalities lol!) then all the other lot that slice and dice the opponent to pieces. It'll surely look a lot better in reality, too, since the quality of this vid is meh.

I read somewhere (was it in the spoiler section here? I don't remember) that he will have his dragon fatality. However I also vaguely remember some tweet about animalities not making it in the final game, so idk.

Thats cool! Also the only fatality that isn't better than Liu Kang's MK1 fatality is Kano's stomp and roll from MKvsDC lol

Don't forget Jax's Uppercut fatality from MKvDC. Horrid.

Liu's Dragon fatality predates animalities, and although it was an animality in MK3-MKT, it became a fatality again in MK4.
 
Couldn't find a good image or vid of Kung Pow's reference to it but:

Crap, man! Look at that! That's, like, his stomach plug, on the ground back there. You don't see that every day. I mean that doesn't even seem possible, if you think about it. I mean with body organs, and cartilage and bones. I mean, I'm no doctor, but, it was like, one clean chunk.

Yeah, exactly. He's based off of Bruce Lee also. Liu Kang doesn't do a one-inch punch, but it's still a single powerful punch. I'd like it better if he did a one inch punch and was like WATAAHHHH when he did it. He should also put his hands into a praying and bowing type motion, it seems like it would fit his character more.
 
Yeah a small combo before the main fatality would be cool.

Or, have him do the chest punch, look at his fist and then punch off his head for an extra splash.
