This will be a hell of a week for MK fans around the world, specially for the Brazilian ones! Moments ago, Hector Sanchez presented the game for the Brazilian public at a Books & Eletronics Store in a Mall here in São Paulo, showing some new gamplay and some new modes, such as the Fatality Training. Here are some of the highlights from the event:

• The online mode will be restricted to your area. E.g., if your playing from the west part of the USA, you'll only be able to play against people from the same region. Sanchez explained that this decision was made in order to prevent lags during online matches.

• The Lady In Red? "She'll be there", says Sanchez. I wonder what he exactly meant. Cameo in a Stage, Cameo in the Challenge Tower or actually playable?

• Kratos will be heavily promoted soon, which is why nearly nothing was released about him at the moment.

• Xbox360 will have some kind of exclusive content, rather than an exclusive character, which will be announced soon.

• All those Bios and Endings are REAL, and Hector said that "it was an act of 'bad character' from those who made these leaks".

• We'll see human Sektor and Cyrax in action, as he stated that part of the Story mode will take place before the Lin Kuei automation, but it wasn't clear if their human forms will be playable.

• He confirmed Cyber Sub-Zero, and said that he will have an unique set of moves and story. He said also that the team is not certain about his inclusion in future MK games.

•Sonya has her classic MK4 Leg Split Fatality! The combination will be [\/, \/, <, >, X] for the Xbox

Localized on-line play defeats the entire purpose of on-line functionailty in the first place.

Unless the US analogy in respect to this was erroneous and this 'restricted' on-line play applies to Brazil only, this info sounds bogus -- Boon said himself, not a a couple of days ago (Giantbomb), that the net-code was being renamped to incorporate much better intercontinental play; even exampling a UK Vs US game.

Calling it: mistranslated info or outright bogus.

Well, this will be a very easy piece of information to verify if it's correct or not. Just ask Boon, or ask Hector in a few days to verify what he said. It's not like it's something secret, so it will be simple to find out.

And if anyone needs any help translating of info from the Brazil event, I can translate from Portuguese perfectly, so just let me know.

lololool None of this is true..Hector Sanchez, Just "Showed" the demo. Neatherreal studios would not allow him to say any of that stuff..And i Doubt very highly that Hector Sanchez "Member of Neather Realm Studio's" Would say such thing's. i DO NOOOT mean to burst anyones bubble. It is all a misunderstanding/miscommunication.. and that thing about human cyrax/sektor. is complete BULL. He was explaining How they USE to be Human (Thus that is why you see there BONES during an X-Ray move that is done to them?) they USE to be human..No such thing a s freaking Human type of those character's..and do you guy's really believe that stuff about 'Cyber Sub-Zero'? lololol i know some of you guys do not..and some of you are gullable to believe a site that just wants popularity..
