Where are they from?

where do you guys get your sprites from? i get mine from the mk wherehouse, but there are tons more that i have been seeing... so how do you get your sprites? do you have some kind of program that you can gank them from the game yourselves... or do you just edit random pictures that you find? please inform me... im getting bored editing the same sprites over and over.
