three hours for Nitro? That's nothing. I waited 5 1/2 hours to go on Superman. That's right. The line was practically a mile long. People were cutting the line and cursing at eachother cuz it was going so slow. The wait was even longer because the Superman coaster broke and had to be repaired. And then the line wen't on again. It really sucked. But the ride was alright. I loved the whole "look at the ground from above" effect, cuz that's how the ride was designed. Not too scary, but sort of at certain points. Very fun though.
I wen't on practically every roller coaster they had. As soon as I arrived with my friend we wen't on from order: Nitro, Medusa, Viper, Rolling Thunder, Treasure Island, Scream Machine, Superman, Batman, and Batman and Robin the Chiller.
And that was it. We didint go on anything else but coasters all day. Nitro's line was short cuz we arrived early. I wen't on it quickly. The seat protection was very scary. It's just a stick with a yellow handle that goes on your waist...nothing else...no shoulder guards or nothing. Scary. The first frop was amazing. For some odd reason this ride didin't scare me. I loved it. The speed was absolutely amazing.
Medusa was fantastic. Just as great as Nitro. It was the smoothest ride in the park, and featured the most loops and cuves ever. I loved it. Medusa and Nitro were my favorites. And the line for Medusa was the shortest.
Then Viper came. Since I heard somebody died on this coaster once, I didnt want to go on, but I did anyways. The line was short and we got on there quick. The ride was very, very small and short, but it was basically a "coil" type of coaster that wen't in a series of small lupes. Very, very scary and damn...it was painful. When it went on those small tiny loops through the tunnels, I fell outta my seat and then wen't back in place. I got scared. When the ride finished, my head, my back, and my legs were killing me, lol.
Then Rolling Thunder came. 1970's coaster. didn't worry me at all. Not scary. Bumpiest, roughest ride in six flags. I hated the friction of it. Not smooth AT ALL. Not even fun, but still exciting. The first drop was kinda scary cuz the ride was sooo shaky.
The Scream machine...before I wen't on the coaster, it freaked me out sooo much. I didn't wanna go on, but I did anyways. The appearance of it scared me. But once the first drop was over the ride was nothing to me. Kinda funny. The line for that one was kinda long. About 40 minutes.
Then Superman came. The only thing scary about Superman is the freaken line. Most pathetic line iv ever been on. Batman and the Chiller were good...too short if you ask me. I liked Batman better cuz the Chiller lasted for only 45 seconds. I didin;t care for it much.
But my favorites were Nitro and medusa. The scariest would probably be the Viper cuz I fell out of seat a few times and popped back in place. And the roughest physically...is viper too cuz of the constant head banging and back banging. The bumpiest was Rolling Thunder. And longest line was Superman BY FAR. Im never ever going on superman again if it's over 1:00 PM.
