Weird DLC Compatibility Glitch

Whenever I pick Sub-Zero and I play against someone who doesn't have the compatibility pack, it still allows me to perform his classic fatality with any costumes, but freezes and d-syncs as soon as the fatality is over. XD

Has anyone else had this problem?
 
Yep, I just noticed that today. I do that fatality everytime and never thought it was the problem, but today I tested it and everytime I do the classic fatality I desync

Yeah, it was funny because I performed the fatality on accident, and it worked, then d-synced afterward. I just got done with a KOTH match where my friend did the same thing with Reptile and used his classic fatality, and the whole thing just locked up. >.>

I'm not trying to sound like a dueche, but why can't people DL the Compatibility pack...it's free, seriously.
