Trooper in the krypt

I dont know if anyone else has seen this trooper guy in the krypt, but I have and I was just wondering what was he off of in mortal kombat?He has camoflauge pants and a gas mask.

He is seen in the earth realm in Konquest investigating the portal. I haven't seen him in the krypt but I also haven't looked closely at the characters running around in the Krypt really.

Could be a long shot, but he looks alot like the guys from the Area 51 demo, included with the game.

I saw him in the Krypt as well. It happened just yesterday, I think.

Rather odd, considering he's not a "regular" in the MK series...

If the guy in the posted pic above is who youre talking about, then he's a guy who says he's from the UN investigating strange stone circles to the east of where you talk to him...he's just a random guy who gives you a side quest. Definitely NOT Stryker, in my opinion.
