tips for 250, shang tsung/shao khan battle?

any would be appreciated. I'm so annoyed at this. they give you the worst player on the game who only has a fireball and his soul steal doesn't work. meanwhile shao khan stands across the screen spamming his unblockable hammer throw until he finally decides to shoulder charge you as you jump it.

I'm sure some of you found it easy, help would be appreciated. I've done everything else in single player and I refuse to skip challenges in the tower due to horrible dev. decisions. Since online is broken with the horrible input lag between your controller and the screen I guess this is all that's left.

which horrible dev. decisions you ask? shang tsung is a weak character only usable because he can change into other fighters........yet the CPU can change but you can't (only soul steal). why even put him in then? I'm also a firm believer that there should be no such thing as an unblockable move in a fighter. Having one breaks the game. there is a block button for a reason. if it doesn't work to block moves then it's broken.

Get as far as possible from Kahn and start spamming the normal skull (B,B,FP). Just keep pressing the buttons constantly. If he tries to throw the arrow, the skull will stun him, denying the spear. If he throws the hammer, the skull will still hit him but at that moment don't do the skull throw but jump straight up to avoid the hammer. Then just repeat.

This worked for me the second time I tried (the first one I was smashed, hehe).
