THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say this because the only way to unlock mos of the good stuff is through Konquest mode and there are some people (like myself) who can't combo for the life of them. And if you can't combo then you can't progress through the story and if you don't progress you don't get any new rewards. It all comes down to being a good gamer with fighting games and I guess I'm not one of those lucky few who are. It's unfortunate I bought the game used because now I am stuck with it.

there's a difference between a game sucking and sucking at a game. I suck at MK2, I still regard it as probably the third best 2D fighter ever, after CVS2 and MK Trilogy

i just wish i was better at games like this. I mean i really enjoy watching other people play it. I just wish i could play as well as some of my friends can.

Eh, practice and/or cheats make perfect. I recommend practice, it's rewarding...unless your playing a game like Goldeneye..then..it's impossible to resist cheating..

Big head mode..ahahaha..

Tangents..anyways..umm, Deception did bother me with the required Konquest mode. I don't mind working for a game's extra features, but don't force me through some highly linear, piss-poor attempt at a adventure subquest mode as one of the, if not the, most stupid characters in MK history.

I had no problem in konquest. I did enjoy it. I do agree however that it shouldn't be the only way to unlock features.

konquest mode was very annoying having to find all the chests to unlock the good stuuf they should of awarded you with the people as you finished their training succsesfully(except shujinko where as you beat the game to unlock him) and finding shujinko's moves wasnt that appealing either. And having to beat scorpion with 300% damage and healing was a bi$%&

Konquest mode is very easy, in my opinion. it just takes me afew tries to complete the main task at hand. to beat Tanya and final Scorpion, just use the square 4x combo to make an easy way around. That's what i did. this game's fun!

Your title doesn't support your point at all just for the record. What you are saying is that you suck at combos, not that the game sucks.

I think that you should award yourself + 1, Soogie.

Good point, but bad motivation!

To jarron:
I know you want to get it done, but it takes practice and patience to get the game done and mastered. Go to practice mode, pick your favorite character and practice until you've have master the combos. I know you can do it, you just have to believe that you can do it too.

Konquest mode is easy. I read some review on the internet that said MK:D's Konquest sucked, 'coz all we were doing were making ourselves delivery/messenger boys. I mean, you dont even get to fight enemies properly like in Shaolin Monks. You actually have to "engage" i battle. The most you can do is hit someone.

At least it's better than MK:DA.

i personaly like to think that mkda's konquest was better. sometime's there's nothing better to do then sit back and learn every fighter's moveset with dialauge and distant music in between. on the other hand, it's not remerable in mkd to run around punching peiople. once you exit the village, the game just lost it's touch. i had very rememberable times in the past looking back on mkda konquest.

I dunno. Somehow, just training and no action seem boring to me. If nobody else agrees, I'll shutup. Also, I don't run around punching ppl. I'm just saying that that feature is the only thing klosest to kombat in MK:SM.

I liked the konquest of Deception much better than Deadly Alliance. Some of it was quite cheesy and poorly done, but it at least had some individual options to it. Deadly Alliance's Konquest was alright in that it allowed for more of the story to be told, but I prefer Deception.
I do like that it was skill based. There is nothing more annoying than button mashing opponents in Versus. If nothing else, konquest for deception shows you how to actually use fighters so that technique is involved in future versus matches.
