Just checked and there is no option in the game to install it.

Loadtimes are the same as in the demo. It loads really quick. I don't think shaving 1 second off of loadtimes justifies a 4 gig install anyway.

Even if there was an option to do so, this doesn't make it mandatory.

*Edit* Took a pic of MK's install data. I don't understand why websites just blatantly post horse**** without checking the facts. I did and I can officially debunk any crap statements of mandatory installs.

The game started up, came with an update notice and that was that. No installing messages, no option to do so. Whoever came up with this has so much crap in his head he decided to share some.

They post stuff like that to troll people like you and me. And when I soapbox about a 4 gig install not being a big deal I look silly in the end. Shang = Failtality.

And btw, the cake isn't a lie. I had some. It's good. GLaDoS isn't all that bad.
