The Kabal Issue

its the outfit after he gets the mask... It makes him look like a tramp on a mobil life support system.

Plus its tacky.

And I've never been good with playing him.

^Sig worthy material LMAO XDXDXDXDXDXDXD!

Nice one!

Anyway I see. Although I wouldn't want Kabal any other way I mean his whole suit along with LSS is his trade@mark, just like Scorpions yellow suit/Spear.

^At least it proved me correct, I can give you advice if you want XD.

Also if you thought that was bad you should see your job topic    ///

Anyway I've just began noticing how good Kabal is. At first I considered him just like Stryker, but as time has passed Kabal has became one of my favorite characters. Maybe he will return for a future MK if not DX.

I'm not a fan of kabal... In fact the only good thing I see about him is the fact he has a combo for each style that switches to the next. He is the easiest style switcher of the lot.

Other then that he is pretty lame.

A difference of opinion as well as an opposite point of view is good and always welcome in my books. That's what makes for good debating and discussion on these forums. Let me start off by saying that Kabal in classic MK as opposed to Kabal in next gen Mk are two completely different ballgames. I have no interest in Kabal in MKD. He has lost his once potent magic that was so apparent and what made him so strong a contender in the classic games. He was literally a combo machine and had a good story plus the fact that at the time his moves, particularly the spin dash and the groundsaw were literally unrivalled in destructive output and originality. Meaning he was not only tough as hell to beat in an experienced players hands, but also he made a huge impact on the Mk world at that time. He is unique and a tragic character in that how he became what he is, makes for good MK story telling.

Now, you say and I quote; In fact the only good thing I see about him is the fact he has a combo for each style that switches to the next. He is the easiest style switcher of the lot

Let's break that down for a minute. What you say applies to just about every character in MKD. And you say he is the easiest style switcher of the lot. I would have to be the person who has played MKD the LEAST. I can't stomach the game for some reason. Yet I had no difficulty in learning and switching styles and performing combos with anyone. Not that hard really. I think you just don't like Kabal, which is a pity. You have missed out on some great kickass gameplay in both classic MK and next gen MK with him, dude.

Lastly, Kabal is not lame, bro. Any member here might say the same of your favourite character. But then again, if everybody liked the exact same character and exact same everything in the Mk universe. What a boring forum this would be when it comes to MK discussion.

I respect your opinion, but don't support it. Kabal is not lame.

The same might be said of Darth Vader? He's on a mobile life support system too. Tacky?

The real reason for your dislike of him emerges. I don't know about you, but because I am not proficient with a player. In no way means I am anti towards that player. As an example, I like the Shujinko, many hate him. I dunno why. And I cannot use him that well. But I don't think he's lame because of it.

Just my opinion. And the whole point of this thread was to determine whether or not his Nomads Touch special move is/was any good. I will stick to my guns and conclude that it sucked BIGTIME! And for the record, Kabal is/was not my altime favourite Mk character. But he was in my top 5
