team attacks???

ok so i got a question here... i tried doing the team moves with kung lao en lui kang, i got the spin with teh multidirectional fireball... but the 2nd one with the picture of KL swinging LK like a rag doll... i tried the R1 en R2 butten as shown... but i can't seem to get it to work

i mean WTF i got the PAL version, so after being bummed with the whole MKII thing not being there, and then this comes along... it's really ruining the game's value, anyone got an answer too shut me the hell up already?
 
I also had alot of difficulty doing ko-op team attacks. It took me a while just to get the fire ball deflection. I still didnt get the 2nd one. I don't have PAL, i have teh USA/Japan version. :roll:
