Start menu freezing

Didnt happen me before, but since Today everytime I put the game (logged to PSN) it freezes in the start menu (the whole console) i dont understand why, i did it fine before, but now everytime i reach the start menu (in online and logged only) i press start and the loading icons stay there for like 10 to 15 seconds at the console freezes. Someone can help me with this? if not i have to log after i passed the start menu and i always foget that and its lame.

It happens to me once PSN came back online. I believe the game is trying to connect to the server or something. This is on top of the check that it does for new content.

my game freezes once i press the start button at the beginning eveytime i wanna play this game (ps3)
 
Yh but this is weird, everytime i press start in the start menu being logged to PSN the game freezes. I dont know what to do, I have to log in after i passed the start menu to make it work. And weirder is that it dint happen until yesterday and today it still happens, im freaking out.

I'm actually having the exact same problem. So I'm just not going to play online for a few days - at least until PSN's scheduled maintenance is over (it starts this Tuesday evening) I think that is part of the problem.

Weird Fact: If you turn on the PS3 log to PSN and wait 2 minutes before enter the game, the game doesnt freeze in the start menu. So i guess its or a connection prob or a PSN prob. This confirms is not a prob of my game copy, im glad is not that.
