Should I get this game?

9/10... Cause no game is perfect.
It honestly really is a lot of fun, even if you don't play with friends, but with friends its 10x better.
It has key elements in what made MK so great... I think you should buy it
 
If you liked any past MK at all, pick it up man. There's tons to do in the game, even with 1 player. 6-8 hour story mode, 300 level challenge tower, regular ladder (to unlock endings for each character), just about every character from MK1-3, and of course online and local multiplayer. Tag mode. Krypt. The game will keep ya busy! Plus it's fun as hell with more content apparently on the way. Solid 9 out of 10.

1. Revamped fighting system that pretty well balances ease of entry for new players and complexity for high level guys.

2. Storyline has been streamlined to make up from gaps in the story caused by lack of techology/time in the past.

3. Tons of content for single player and casual play with a friend with the arcade ladder, challenge tower, and story mode.

4. Future downloadable content should ensure that the longetivity of the game is extended.

5. Online gameplay so you can put your skills against other players anytime (once its fixed).
 
You should allready have this game. With alittle online research, anyone can see that its 10 times the game dcu was, in every way. & this isn't hype or even opinion, its fact! :) 9.8 put of 10. Best fighting game ever, period. Finally MK2 may be dethroned.
 
Yeah, get it. It's possibly the best fighting game I have ever played.

On a side note, I found it refreshing to find good opinions about the game in this thread; this forum is full of whiners, complaining of things as silly as Smoke's hair, the bosses' difficulty and how covered in clothes the female characters are.
