Rumor: Story spoilers

You guy's have to be trolling... It's a fighting game for pete's sake. Story is secondary in a game like this.. and for those who do care, regardless of who the "main" characters in the story are you really think there not just going to systematically tell the stories of all the characters in it... LIKE THEY HAVE IN EVERY INSTALLMENT. It's been 25 years after the events of MK2011, there not going to focus on any one or two specific characters they need to explain what's happened to everyone. However the story starts is just going to be filler as they bounce from perspective to perspective of all the different characters to help explain the setting.

Exactly, they always bounce around because they want you to play as most of the characters of the game if possible. If this Sub & Scorpion thing has an ounce of truth it's simply just one string in a ball of yarn that is the story of MKX.

I agree with you my friend, I mean that they don't make Sub-Zero and Scorpion's teaming up as the main plot point, and relegate the good vs. evil to a sub plot. I want it to be the other way around, as Pat just mentioned, like in the previous MK Games. I'm just speculating over whether NRS would actually make the Good vs. Evil story take a back seat to Scorpion and Sub's potential teaming up in this game.
