That is hard to say, mainly because Chaotic is stuck on outdated engine, and any new content gets downgraded accordingly. You can find videos of it on Youtube.

MKMU (or at least the version that started to use "MKMU" name as opposed to "MKM") is not released.
MK4 2D is not released.

MKMU is FAKE with MKP 4.1 physics and widest stages.) MK4 shouldn't be equalized with such complilations.

Well, MKP5 modification had 2 complete NEW characters. We can't say same about MK compilations
presented here. I don't intend to continue this discussion with you.
