quick question ps3

hello all

mortal kombat great game really enjoying it and looking forward to getting online (ps3)
its a great offline game but now finnished everything offline trophy wise except the 24 hr nonsense for mastering charcters

well i expect most of you are aware that the ps3 should be back online any day as of tommorow . and im looking foward to fighting online which is the main reason i buy fighting games . but there is something i was thinking and i hope it wont be the case
anyway here is the question

sony have said that the network should be up and running this week but the playstation store wont be up until the end of the month

well as you all know to play mortal kombat online you must use the redeem code but if the psn store isnt working that code wouldnt work ? would it ? as the code is used on the store .. will this mean we will be waiting a long time to play online i hope this is not the case but it got me thinking

anyone have any idea if this will be the case ? or the code would still work ?

in the menu there is a redeem kode on mk just go onto online it should say redeem code

I don't know if the codes are transmitted directly to whatever servers Mortal Kombat uses for authentication or if it does indeed go through the Playstation Store. If the PS Store is needed for the code transaction many users will be SOL for another 2+weeks.

well, you do get 2 days before they ask you for the kombat kode. When I used mine the store came up, so am guessing you got to wait. Unless you use your two free days
