Problem sign in Playstation Network!!!! (16/04/11)

Yesterday my Playstation 60GB (with the card slots n PS2 compatible) had a yellow light of death. Fortunately my warranty was still on so I exchanged it in the shop today for a PS3 Slim 160 GB. In my surprise I cannot log in to PSN! I can browse the internet on the PS3 but I just cant sign in to PSN! I keep on getting error code 08710092, I googled it but no one's solution seems to be working.

I tried manually entering DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
Turning router n PS3 on and off
But no can do...Any help would be greatly appreciated boys n girls!:)

Im starting to think that maybe the PSN is down. BTW im in England...
 
I bout a new playstation a few months ago and had the same problem! I just left it overnight and it worked the next morning! Or it could also be a problem with the Playstation store itself.

Oh...yeah...I made a ritual to play MK demo everyday...I cant download it if I cant sign in to PSN...
 
sounds like a dns server issue to me go to your network settings on your ps3 and set every thing to auto or default except the primary and secondary dns these need to be set to match your ip address the only difference is secoundary dns make it the same as the primary but the last number a 1 or zero than save what you have and try to sign in
