Hey there,

I know that many of us are attending either college or the university, and money has always been an issue among many of us. I mean, the prices are so high that sometimes it's hard to get money for school.

I am creating this thread for you guys to put reliable sources where you have received money for school.

I personally use FAFsA for school money, but sometimes they don't give enough to affort school.

Do you use any other scholarships that have helped you to pay for college? Not loans, GRANTS are what we are looking for...

Please help many of us that need money for college by posting RELIABLE sources for money.

I am sure many of us will appreciate it.

This is serious.

lol sorry, I just like to troll people.

Well i dont know in USA but in my country we have scolarships for university and low paid works into the same institute, that helps with it.
Other alternatives are bus man, or videogame tester, that's what my friends do, fortunally I dont need to work to pay the university, besides in my country the university is totally free, you just need to buy books.

Wow that's awesome... wish I lived where you do.

FAFSA is about the only thing I can recommend. I have a full ride where I go so luckily I don't have any financial worries. There are plenty of websites around that can e-mail you scholarship opportunities.

That encourages me to do it even more... lol

The easy answer is to get a job, or pray for a scolarship, and if your parents can help you then, dont feel shame for it and ask them for money, after all is for a good and important destination, and if you have expensive vices (cigarrettes, sodas, etc) just cut them or buy cheaper brands.

Go ahead, you'll just get a ban.

Trolling is against the rules, don't do it, period.

Moving along.....let's not further derail the thread :)

I receive 100% from my Pell Grant through the Fafsa. The only additional money rewarded I get is usually from taking certain classes.
It's really hard to get any scholarships unless you fit a specific degree, put in a lot of community related work, and write essays matching their criteria. You pretty much have to go out of your way to get them.
The problem with the Pell Grant is if you live independently, the income you make to support yourself counts against you and you earn less.
My suggestion is if you want more money, move back home with your parents.
