Do meeting celebrities via myspace count as actually meeting them? I've met and now have friended at least 5 WWE superstars without even having to talk to them. Is this normal or is this some kind of bullsh*t?

Tis what you call posers that are on that site. None of them i bet you are real. If the pictures of them are of them in there wrestling cloths or in any type of cloths getting a photo taking there probably a poser. I have seen many people faking them so its a hoax. All you have done is met some sad loners who have nothing better to do with there time.

You mean wrestlers?

Hey, hey, hey..... that's a low blow. I'am a wrestler you know, and just cause i don't have nothing better to d......... i stand corrected before i begun. :o

well,I know of some indy wrestlers that have myspace pages that are real.
dunno if you'd count that but I have met some of my favorite wrestlers.
Mad Man Pondo,Josh Ambercrombie,Tyler Black, and my favorite wrestler of all time Necro Butcher.
I also nearly got beat up for touching Claudio Castignoli's belt  ,simple misunderstanding and Joey eastman (the announcer) delivered the message for me that I was sorry.

I guess going to indy wrestling shows has it's perks since you can actually talk to the wrestlers after the matches.they show you their bruises and shit.

I wouldn't trust any of them "celebrity" pages. I doubt they even have time for one.

who the hell is Tela Tequila?

i saw some girl on tv that made herself popular, kinda of a celebrity by doing myspace 24/7. how lame is that. she isnt in a movie or anything, just very popular on the myspace website.

i dont think celebs really care to have a myspace website, i mean i dont and im not even a celeb, and i have plenty of time. I think most celebs act nice in front of people but would much rather punch all their fans lights out when they cant go to the grocery store without being mobbed.

myspace is just another way for people to fit in, popularity contest, that whole junior high school thing. at least thats how i see it.

Why would you think it counts as meeting them? For all we know they could be some 30-year old dude in his mother's basement or something.

some celebritys have real myspace pages, i found traci binghams myspace, i found claudio sanchez's (coheed and cambria) myspace, dave grohls(foo fighters) in the past, i dont know if they still use it though.

But how do you know it is really theirs? It could be some guy/girl posing as them with their pictures. I wouldn't trust it. They have better things to do than sign up for MySpace.

All the WWE is is a bunch of fat guys pretending to slap each other anyway. At least the more independant wrestling franchises are more realistic. Japanese wrestling kicks ass.

I know the guys from Bowling for Soup actually own and use their own myspace profiles, cos my girlfriend actually knows them personally so I've had confirmation from the horse's mouth. Wrestlers can't really have Myspace profiles, because they are really fictional characters. So saying you met them is like talking to Tobey Maguire and telling everyone you know Spider-Man

Exactly what someone who has never even watched it would say.
