MK1-MK3 Characters for MK11 + Variations

I can't really see them making Shang Tsung absorb Ermac's souls just for him to live again. I don't even know how that would work since isn't he technically still just a wondering soul right now? How can that soul take control of a being that contains thousands of warrior souls?

You might have it where Ermac could hold Shang Tsung's soul and then place it in some new body and have Ermac feed him souls to get stronger, but I can't really see them doing this. It's too much creativity and I kinda don't have faith in the writers when coming up with creative ideas to improve characters.

I'm also still against Nightwolf having a niece. He doesn't need someone to replace him, let alone fight by his side. Nightwolf is a hugely underrated character that deserves more chances to show how great of a character he is. The whole purpose of the kids in X is a way for the developers to slowly make the Trilogy characters depart from the series. They've constantly stated numerous times that these characters serve as the whole "passing of the torch". I can't see them contradict themselves after doing that in multiple interviews during E3 and a bit after.

Also, they're going to have to fill us in as to why Noob and Jade were never mentioned at all. I don't think Kitana even mentions a single thing about Jade in the story, the only thing of Jade that exists (besides her Mournful variation) is a small glimpse of her in Kitana's arcade ending. That's pretty much it. Also, Kung Lao's interaction with Sub-Zero about Noob's whereabouts. That's sure one heck of a line to just randomly throw out. I'm not saying we should really look into (since I'm not the kind of person that takes everything so seriously), but I can't see them really just making something like that up without having a reason behind it. And of all the people to say anything about Noob to his brother, it's Kung Lao. Kung Lao of all the characters. Nothing from Quan Chi at all, just Kung Lao.

The writers sure have a lot to work and fix in order to please me with some of these characters.
 
The Mortal Kombat X story mode was so messed up, that they (the wrighters) just ruin the entire franchise. There´s no way to fix this kind of mess, MK11 will suck storywise.
 
Smoke : General Moves : Smoke grenade, tele punch, New version of the spear, Monkey Toss throw, Air throw Toss, and Smoke Trap.
1.Enenra : He has the abilities to summon a demon to grab you and pull you under a portal and when the opponents comes up the opponent burns and it chips away at health for a limited time. The Spear drains meter.
2.Ninja : His Tele Punch can now juggle the opponent in the air for a combo starter. The spear can be used multiple times while doing a combo. The Monkey Toss throw now adds a ninja kick to it.
3.Cyber Initiative : He now can use bombs to play head games with the opponent and now his spear turns into his trident. His air throw toss is now a double slam. He also has the teleporting uppercut move. The traps can be placed anywhere to upset the opponent.
Yeah I stink at these but it is all I can think of.

Pretty much this.

And if there's one request I have for MK11 it's that the writers take a good hard look at the lore they've created and do it justice. Even if they're making things up as they go, it doesn't mean they can't respect what they've already established.
 
Cant wait to play MKXI in about 4.5 years when its about to be released! Who wants to plan a 1v1 Shang match? Just pm me, already feeling the hype and stealthily keeping a close eye on my inbox :bunny:


On a serious note, Saibot / Shang DO need to return for the next MK is there's going to be a new MK 1v1 game! ALSO MK3 Shang please ty.

Imho I think the next MK will not be MKXI I think it's going to be MK Fire & Ice or something like that, time will tell.

I also can't wait to play MK11!!! Jade DOES need to return as well plus Li Mei, Sareena, and Nitara. I am confident Kitana and Tanya will return. But as for Mileena, I'm not sure after her death in MKX but I believe NRS can get another clone of Mileena from the Flesh Pits (as seen in her MKX ending).

That's a good guess.
Although, to be fair, the last good action-adventure game (Shaolin Monks) was done by Paradox (Midway's partner studio in L.A.) and not Midway themselves.
Given Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Special Forces, I'm a little bit worried about NRS doing an action-adventure game.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it, but I'm just a little skeptical on how it would turn out.

To Be honest with you it will be a retelling of Deadly Alliance and Deception with a twist as if things aren't twisted like crazy already. I am ready for it when it comes out.

I truly actually wont mind a DA / Deception retelling, both imho were quite entertaining even though I didnt like Blaze at ALL it is one of the worst witht he new characters from deception (exluding Havik)

Lets pray for a full next gen release of deceptions Conquest mode, damn that would be so SOOOOOOOOOO good ! 10/10

While I do agree, they havent made a lot of good discisions, IMHO I did enjoy the tits outa MK Mythologies, if only back then better hardware was available, I do think that NRS is capable of doing something really KOOL if they were to design MK SM2 or whatever, but I feel your fears man.

We should pray @ the sky temple for a few weeks ;)
