Some may know me from the TRMK IRC chat. I always idled there, and even took apart in the sparse conversations that happened there.

However, I've found that even my own idle buddy, Patrick McCarron, hasn't even been there the past few days. I always idle in a slew of IRC servers and chats, but I always weed out the ones that do not share interest with me anymore. Unfortunately, because of the server lack of activity lately, even from the norm, TRMK's chat will be the next to get the axe from me.

Pat, if you're reading this let me know why you stopped idleing there. Maybe if the chat EVER picks up pace I'll come back.
 
I know it's been pretty sparse in there, but I'm sure all of us at TRMK appreciate you being in there as much as you have.

Unfortunately, the only time I can get on is at work and they've been cracking down on chatting recently.

Just curious for anyone else who hasn't participated in the Chat room, please let us know why so that we can improve the overall experience of this site. :)
 
I haven't been idling there because for some reason it hasn't been reconnecting me. And I haven't been around my PC much at all the last few weeks. I think I fixed the problem (not reconnecting, not being around my PC) and I should be atleast idling there more often again.

I too would like to see more users chatting, users who don't chat please tell me why so we can help to improve TRMK.

Its mostly because the users at TRMK are more used to the forum. Once your use to something, you may try to change to something else, but you'll always end up back where you started. It's not because the TRMK Chat System is lame and such, it's because users are used to the forum aspect of TRMK.
 
I don't go there from dilike of chat rooms in general.
