i thought it was cool how deadly alliance and deception had blood running down the characters' bodies, and bruises on their faces

do you guys think it would be cool if the characters costumes could become dirty and torn (though they would still stay on of course )

I didn't even know that Deception included the bruising faces.

But yeah, I like the idea of clothing being torn.. although it'd be more worn then torn. Maybe some blood stains. But I don't think we'll be looking at that stuff until Mortal Kombat goes Next-Gen.

If Madden can do it, MK can too. Of course, I would rather the next MK utilizes more realistic blood. I don't believe I've ever cut myself and had an explosion of red play-doh pour out... I'm not against the excessive blood, but it's just so fat...fat blood.

Haha, well let's not compare realistic blood to MK blood at all..

First of all, in the three-D versions. As you said Shadow, it was playdoh muck. But in the two-D versions, it was all.. red paint. I think, personally, Mortal Kombat Two had the best looking blood. Most realistic, considering what they had.

I agree. Since MK went 3D, the character models, arenas, and other aspects of the game have went forward in realism..but the blood remains in a horrible doh state...
If the next MK were to revamp the blood, just thin the shit...give them some aspirin or something...and have the bruises and torn costume effect..it would be t3h r0x0rz..

Actually, this is a great idea. Becuase in the magazines and updates before MK:DA came out they said that the clothes will be torn throughout the fight.

I do not remember seeing bruising on the... wait yes because I remember me playing as smoke and him having scratches and such. The clothes tworn thing, I thought of that on DA. Yes definitly need ripped outfits :)

Yeah um...since when was Smoke in MK:DA?

and also, the bruises and scratches were never lower than the head. They were only on the face.

It always reminded me of red mercury

Kool yes, but not realistic in the fact that the blood looked like huge droplets of red goo! Next time you play MKDA or MKD, look at the size of the blood drops? They are about the size of an egg. Imagine if you cut yourself and egg sized drops of blood oozed out? Besaide any vampire worth their weight in blood who would love you till they kingdom come. It would suck.

i see bbruises on kobras face all the time after im finished kicking his @$$ with subby but yes there are bruises on some characters in mkD

Yeah, but i prefer it to be realistic, another fighting game had that idea but it was badly done..Forgot the name..Well even if we hited the face ONLY the cloths still get torn and ripped

Since when was Smoke on MK:DA? I was talking about MK:D queer so shut the fuck up. Also I do see scars and oil stains on his body. Think before you speak!

Well, it looks like you can't read correctly. I said the bruises are only on the face.
