I can't play the story mode

I've just bought a PS4 and MKX, and I could only access single fight and tutorial, and only Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Kotal Kahn were playable. What do I do?

I think it's because the game isn't fully downloaded yet, but I'm not sure.

Once it downloads it will install.
Then enjoy. ;)
I'm not sure how long it takes to fully download, as I got a physical copy of the game, but the install didn't take me too long.

I've just checked, and more modes and all the already playable characters were available. This thread is pretty much obselete now.

Again, thanks for the help.
