How do I use the 2 guys on the corners???

OK... I was wondering if all you experts could help me out... I've completed the Konquest mode, and all I'm missing is 3 Relics, but that's no biggie... I've unlcoked Taven, Daegon & Blaze.

If you're @ the Kombat screen, you guys know how there are those 2 guys, one is red and the other is blue, on the corners???? How come I can't select them to fight with them? Am I missing something??? Do I have to do something special to get them???

Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
 
Those are the Kreate a Fighter icons. You have to go to the Kreate a Character option and make a fighter. You only get one per profile though.

Player 1's Kreated Character is in the left corner, 2's in the right.
