Hello mk community, needing some advice on stragedy with raiden

Im new to the franchise and mk9. I became a raiden fan quick after playing story mode and have mastered pretty much pretty mastered most of the combos and moves already but i have yet to find an effective stragedy with him. an expert told me to stay out of range and win with ranged attacks and tele spurts. Does anyone know whats the best stragedy to use with raiden? any any help is appreciated, thanks.

Another question i wanted to ask the experts out there, some ppl have been saying ps3 controllers user like myself wont be able to compete with ppl online who use arcade sticks, is this true?

ok so to the strategy, teleport when he uses projectiles and do a 3 hit combo and superman over and over if your not comfortable linking a special then dont, if kahn gets close to you keep your block up a lot when hes face to face with you jump over his attack and setup a 3hit combo again and keep doing this

you could just avoid being close all together and just teleport and uppercut every time and keep distance if your not confident in close encounters
