Prologue
The thing we feared the most has finally become a reality, and Eighth has returned. Not only that, he revived the Afterworld to what it was when he controlled it. Now calling it the Underworld, demons and devils roam the realm under the command of Eighth. He has awoken in the body of a demi. The one known as Neo Medall. To be completely honest, however. Medall was, or will be, born one hundred years from this year (1241) only to discover that his universe has already been ridden of all evil in it, with him being the one who killed the last demon. To that extent, he discovered that the Chosen One was to thank for this. With his knowledge, he sent himself back into this year to kill the Chosen One before the prophecy comes to pass. Not only that, it seems that he plans to conquer this realm, and then go onto the thousands of other ones that exist alongside it. Our world has already been destroyed and been reborn by Fenikkusu. When that happened, the "future" of laser guns and flying vehicles combined with the "past" of castles and swords. No, instead of having the two come right after another, they now are together.
There is one way to stop this from happening. The Chosen One must be prepared for the battle of their life when they finally face Eighth. We have decided who our Chosen One is to be, and we will awaken the human when the time is right. Until now, we will watch as the Tetsujin rises.
"Enkai, take our son...take him and hide him from the King." The mother said to her husband as the blood gushed from her stomach.
"No, my love, I cannot leave you here to die. If I take you to Okashira Takomori..."
"The Okashira is still a human, and even he could not stop me from dying. My love, the King of Evil wants our boy, and will more than likely kill him should he ever find him. Take him....Take him and leave Hokkaido. Raise Chrono to be a fierce warrior, and he will be able to protect himself from the evil on his own. Should anything ever happen to you, tell Chrono to go find Takomori, and he will take care of our son from there."
"My love....I will take Chrono and...I will take care of him. Good-bye, my darling, I love you..." Enkai said to his wife as he let go of her hand, sobbed, and then got up and walked away. The four year old stood there, clothes torn and covered in wounds and soot, crying as he saw that his mother's life was being drained away.
"Mama...Mama, please don't leave me." Chrono said to his mother.
"Chrono, you know in those stories that your daddy always reads to you, the hero has to set out on some great adventure to fight the dragon?"
"Yes, mama...." He answered to her.
"Well, this is just like that. You're going out to fight the dragon. Okay? Don't worry about me, I will always be watching over you. Just take care of your father for me, okay? I love you, Chrono" She said to her son.
"Mama," Chrono reached to his mother and hugged her, getting her blood on his chest as he sobbed into her. "Mama, please, I don't want to lose you!"
The mother looked at her son, then slowly pushed him away as she brought her hand over and unwrapped the bandana she wore around her neck. "Here, Chrono, take this. You can use this as momento. The old Okashira gave it to me when I was first training with him as a little girl, so I want you to take special care of it, okay?"
"Y-yes, mama...I love you" The boy let go of his mother and took her bandana. With it, he wiped his tears and then tied it around his neck. She fell back leaned her head against the wall and took her last breath. The family had been attacked by assassins sent by Neo Medall, the King Of Evil who seems to have a special interest in their boy. Chrono walked over to his father, who put a blanket around the boy, picked him up, and ran off. As they walked through what had been the enterance into their home, Chrono's father turned and threw a match onto the house, and it slowly became engulfed in flames. The boy and his father walked off into the night, leaving behind the life they had once had.
Five years had passed since that fateful evening, and still Enkai was wandering the world, trying to hide his son from the clutches of evil.
"Chrono, why don't you go get us some fish, while I set up the fire?" Enkai said to his 10 year old boy.
"Sure, dad." Chrono walked over and grabbed onto his fishing rod, then darted off towards the creek which ran by the bamboo forest they were
currently hiding in. Enkai sat infront of the logs he gathered, placing them in a circle so that he could start the fire. He was now 43 years old, and had greatly improved his fighting style so that he could protect his son from Medall's agents. And yes, although they were in hiding, Medall's forces still found them from time to time. Originally, Enkai only knew how to fight human opponents, who would die when they lost their head. Now, however, he was fighting demons, which were the one things he never really payed attention to fighting when he was learning Taijutsu back in Reiko as a boy with Takomori. Overtime, however, he learned that when fighting demons, one must be prepared to fight something that is unpredictable, that could be either three times as strong as you, or have speed twice of what a human being is capable of. Enkai thought to himself that Chrono had indeed become a fine warrior, yet he should never face Medall, because he would surely die. Yes, Chrono had good self control, and he mastered his moves perfectly, but he was a slow learner, and his chi attacks were much weaker than they should have been. The obvious was also that Chrono was very young, and could never face against any kind of demon, much less the King of all of them. Yet Enkai knew that it was Chrono's fate to face off against him, it was said so by Okashira Takomori the day he was born, and something inside of Enkai told him that the Okashira was right.
Stupid fish, why won't you bite the worm? It's not like it's going to poison you or anything....I'm just going to eat you after you eat the worm. Sounds like a good deal, to me. I feed you, you feed me. Dad says that the fish won't bite because I'm too restless, but I can't help it that it bores me so much. Well, at least it's a nice night out. the stars look really bright out there tonight. Chrono thought to himself as he looked up at the sky. Wait, what was that? He saw something flash through the sky. What's going on?! He heard something rumbling in the bamboo right behind him. Without a word, Chrono turned around and peared straight into the forest. He turned and faced it at whatever was rustling. It's probably some robbers, trying to steal my fish. He thought. Suddenly, the bamboo's spread open, and three tall men walked out from the shadows. The first man was pale-skinned, with a soul patch and eyes that glowed yellow. His hair was cut short, pulled out of his eyes and placed behind his ears. He wore a large belt with large pants that tucked in right around his skin tight boots. The second man was very muscular, and wore no shirt and had no hair. His skin was more of a glowing reddish tone, and his eyes seemed like slits to Chrono. He had, tied behind his back, a staff that seemed to have an anchorhead tied to it's end. The third man was the shortest of the three, and was completely covered in a dark green robe. This one seemed to be the one who would not do the talking, as his head was hanging low, and he was behind the other two. "Excuse me, little boy" The pale-skinned one said "But we've been looking for you, do you know who we are?" The man said as he put his hand on Chrono's spikey brown hair. "No, sir, I can't. I'm guessing you're looking for my dad, but he's deeper in the forest, making a fire." Chrono answered.
"That's okay, we were only looking for you," The other man said. "The dogi you're wearing. It has a sea-horse emblem sewn onto it's right breast. That makes you part of the Tatsutoshigo ninja clan, right?"
"Yes, I am." Chrono said to the man.
"That's good, I've been looking forward to fighting one of them, even if he is just a boy." The man said, motioning over at the ones standing behind him to circle the boy. "I don't know if you know this or not, but you're very important to our master. So, if you want a chance at survival, you could always surrender to us and become his apprentice."
"I would never join someone who sends someone to fight people half his size." Chrono said
"Too bad, I guess." The man said as he grabbed onto Chrono's bicep. Chrono quickly twisted his arm and flipped from the man's grasp. At that time he rolled back closer to the water and grabbed onto the fishing rod, and held it like he would any sword. The larger man came up to Chrono and attempted to grab him by the neck. Chrono quickly turned out of the way and slapped the man's forearm with the vine tied around the rod. The large man laughed as the vine wrapped around his arm. Chrono also smiled a bit as he pulled the rod and the man came over to him. Chrono then did a complete flip-kick and kicked the man into the ground. At which point he jumped onto the man's back and pulled on the pale-skinned man's arm, pulling him over to his compatriot. After that Chrono jumped off and faced the two of them, swinging the vine above his head. The two of them got up and prepared to punch at Chrono. Chrono quickly brought the bamboo stick over and used it to block their punches, and then he lifted his right leg and stomped on the four of their feet. The two of them screamed and Chrono turned his rod around and ran it into the pale-skinned man's chin, knocking him to the ground. Chrono then turned to the great man, who was pulling his staff out and swung it at Chrono. Chrono jumped to the side and swung the vine around the man's leg. He quickly pulled on his rod and the man fell to the ground. Chrono ran over and hopped on him. With that, Chrono formed his right hand into a fist and ran it into the man's nose. He thought he had gotten rid of them, but then he remembered that there was a third one there. Chrono looked over and the third one was still standing there with his head down, not looking at anything that had happened. Chrono knew that he was going to attack soon, so he ran over to him and prepared to whip him with the vine, or slash at him with the rod, he couldn't decide which he would need. When Chrono was in arm's distance of the man, however, the man lifted his head up with blinding speed, stretched out his arm, and flung a ball at Chrono. Chrono was hit in the arm, and spun himself backwards onto his left knee. Without even time for a breath, Chrono got up and ran at the man again, knowing this time that his vine would be what he had to use, since he had to use distance to his advantage. Still, however, the man used one of the balls he had in his cloak and blew Chrono back. Chrono quickly caught onto what was happening, so he ran at the man, this time attempting to slash at him. Once again, the man threw one of his balls at Chrono. This time, however, Chrono used his rod as a bat, and knocked the ball back at the man. Still with blinding speed, the man grabbed onto the ball and put it back in his cloak. Chrono scooted back, ready to jump out of the way of the next ball. Instead of the ball being thrown at him, however, he noticed the man was opening his cloak. Chrono's eyes grew wide, and he shouted out in agony, until suddenly there was silence.

I'll finish the rest of the chapter either later tonight or tomorrow. Whenever I get the enthusiasm, I suppose.
