I know it's small but rate it anyway.

I use the Fireworks program with the standard setting of 660x440 pixels, but the image still shows up that small. Do yuo have any suggestions?

as long as you arent adding any effects or deleting something from a background paint is as good as anything. i did my mk ska band picture entirely in paint, along with all of my sprite edits. only problem is once a sprite is placed you cant move it again.
also if you can get hold of it try adobe photodeluxe, its like a dumbed down version of photoshop, i used to use it in college a lot.

Like I said, it's the program that messed up the image. It's not my fault; 660x440 pixels should be a good sized pic, right. Yet the computer scaled it down for some reason.

i've sussed it. you used photobucket right? if a picture is bigger than 250kb the site automatically scales it down. now c'mon, i helped! gimme my bonus karma lol! j/k

Zombie, two words. Grow up.

I give it an 8/10. It would have been cool if you put ice around sub's fist to give it more of a style. If you know what I mean.

Use a different file format to save it to PhotoBucket with. Using .png includes opacities that increase the file size dramatically whether the opacities are there or not.

Try doing it as a .jpg or even a .gif (only if all the sprites/effects/backgrounds are .gif, otherwise you will lose a lot of definition)

Better programs have the capability of setting the amount of compression for different file types so you don't get too much artifacting etc. when you change the format.

The pic itself is pretty good, but you should try downloading a few of the MK fonts, or another font that looks more fitting than Lucida or whatever it was you used. And shadows would be good, as others have stated already.

whats with the background? it makes it look like they're as tall as the destiny towers... anyway it's pretty good. 7.5
