Just got this game, on xbox, excuse me if this is a retarded question, but
on Mission 1 in Bo Rai Chos dojo, is there anyway to skip that mission?

I swear I have done the second juggling combo 1000 times correctly, (back - Y, X,X,Y) and it does not take - am I doing something wrong there or what - I know I can't go any further until I do it - this game is pissing me off already and I have had it since Xmas -
 
I actually had a bit of trouble with that combo too, if I remember correctly.

About all you can do is attempt to do the combo as many times as you can...varythe speed, occasionally. And, sometimes you have to press a button that it doesn't show, so doubletap one of the buttons on a few of your tries...sorry if that doesn't help, but its been awhile since I was in the village.


By the way...if you think this is hard, wait until you try Dairou's sword combo, or Kenshi's "Yeah" combo...holy shit, those were hard :lol:
 
:shock: Oh, come on Man! The first mission?! You think thats hard, try fighting Scorpion in Edenia, while he hads more damage and you inflict less. Or a fight with Shang Tsung in Netherrealm, while you bleed to death and he's one of the most difficult Mortal Kombat bosses ever!
Just kidding, but seriously? The first mission? Ok, I have'nt done that part of the game in a while, all I can say is that in Deadly Alliance and Deception, fighting has more of a "rhythm style" than a "speed style" like Mortal Kombat 3. Sooo... Umm... I guess thats it from me. More of a " dum..dum..da..da " than " dum,dum,da,da ". :)

Lol, that was the hardest mini quest in the whole entire game. He had like double damage, and health restoration when all you had was normal health, lmao. The first mission in the Village is so damn easy, wait until you get to the furthur on ones buddy. But your not the only one that thinks thats hard, most of my friends go threw hell trying to do there first combo. But I don't even have to look at the controller, I press those buttons so damn fast, lol. All I can say is good luck on the first mission man.
 
OK - another dumb question -

After dojo 2, how do I get across the bridge - when I approach it, the guard says 'none shall pass' then knocks me out -
 
This is going to be a bit spotty, since I don't have MKD with me (not at home), nor have I been there in awhile, but...

I believe you have to go talk to the boy you follow first, then run straight back (don't turn) and you'll find the butcher infront of his shop. He'll give you some ham for the guard, who then moves and lets you pass.


Sorry if this isn't helpful, but its the most I can remember right now :oops:

I haven't played Deception for months, don't even remember playing it this year :O but if I remember well, Disappointed is right. The butcher is near the first bridge or second bridge I think.

If your still in the first town, and your talking about that bridge thats because your not done in the dojo's yet, either that or you need to talk to Apep. After you talk to him he'll say "Come on, lets go to the next class" and after your done with that dojo thats when you have to get some ham from the butcher to bribe the guard.

even worse not double damage but triple damage! he hit me 3 times and i lost but the bad part was shujinko had no moves at that time i am trying to search for them now but i only got that carnival kick or whatever that Li Mei does and flying Jinko which is the easiest to find.
 
true i fought scorpion in edenia but i couldn't beat him 300% and healing is too hard. He can easily hit you with a juggle and before you fall down you lose.
